This board was born out of the need for a "comfortable" shape in "uncomfortable" situations.
The forward projection of volume enhances paddling, facilitating take-offs. While surfing, this construction provides the promise of relying on a narrow tail that ensures grip - a railway!
It's not an everyday board; it's not a board for everyone.
It's a board for slabs, for big days, for when it barrels - in short, for when it gets dark ("buio" in Italian)!
